Announcing a Spring Beer Pairing Dinner, Thursday, April 28th
Join Dario and the crew next week for another celebration of Belgian beer and gastronomy— inflected, as ever, by the passing of the seasons and the changing availability of fresh, natural ingredients. We will prepare four scrumptious spring-appropriate courses, each with a beer to match. We have invited our colleague Ryan to discuss the characteristics of each beer style, the reasons for each pairing choice, and Belgian brewing lore generally.

The spring menu has arrived!
Last week saw the debut of Dario’s Spring 2011 lunch and dinner menus. Seared scallops over cracked pepper and parmesan risotto and sesame edamame join the repertoire, while we have changed the preparations of several of our house favorites— salmosssnssssalmon, duck, lamb steak, pork chop—to suit the changing seasons. (Fear not; the blue cheese mussels, steak and frites, and sous vide short ribs haven’t gone anywhere!)
Spring Fling
Spring Fling, a neighborhood street festival in Dundee, is scheduled for May 21st this year, and Dario’s will be in on the fun. Stop by our beer garden for sous vide beer brats, our famous burgers, and the best beer in the neighborhood—plus live music starting at 6:00pm. We’ll include all the details in next month’s newsletter.
